Grace Marlow
Primary SENCO, FS-Y1
My name is Grace Marlow. I qualified as a Primary Teacher in the UK and went on to specialise in SEND, while taking my undergraduate degree. In 2017, I joined the GEMS Wellington network in Dubai as a Foundation Stage class teacher. During this time, I completed my SENDCo qualification alongside my Masters and I am currently a SENDCo at GEMS Wellington Academy, responsible for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.
My main interests are supporting children with communication skills and assisting n the development of their language. I have had the pleasure of working closely with teachers, teaching assistants and learning support assistants to ensure communication skills are assessed, supported and developed. Practitioners feel more confident and equipped to ensure children are given an opportunity to reach their full potential.
