National Day Brings WEK Community Together

WEK’s National Day Celebration was an extravagant affair complete with musical performances, delicious Arabic food and sweet treats, henna artists, face painting, bouncy castles and slides, a train ride, numerous arts and crafts activities, a souq market, plus falcons and a camel!

WEK was even featured in a recent article about the fun-filled event.

A very special thanks to our Head of Arabic Studies, Ms Rasha Hijazi, who coordinated the entire celebration, as well as our Facilities staff who stayed at the school until 3am to decorate and prepare for today’s festivities. A big thanks to our teachers too for manning the many booths and activities for students throughout the day. It was definitely a team effort all round!
